Cook and Son Home Builders is on the approved list of certified builders who is qualified to do grant work in adding handicap additions to your present home. 

The following pictures show details of a job that was totally funded with grant money and did not cost the homeowner anything.  On this job, we added a handicap ramp for the scooter ( Notice on the pictures of the ramp, there is an extra hand grip that is there to assist in walking.)  Flood lights were added on all four corners for their safety, a porch roof was added, and 6-inch seamless gutters were installed.  On the inside, we added a 4 ft. fluorescent light in the kitchen for improved lighting, and in their master bathroom, we removed the tub and replaced it with a handicap shower with handicap rails.
